I was looking for a new doggie day care facility for my two dogs Haley, a female Rottie, and Zeus my male Basset Hound.  The Red Dog Inn's name came into conversation, so I decided to check them out.  Upon being interviewed by the office manager Caren, I learned there was a position opening up.  I had previously worked for a doggie day care facility and had plenty of animal behavior experience.  She gave me a extensive kennel tour and I was hooked.  A place I could work with animals, which is what I love the best, and bring my dogs to work with me.

I was in charge of the day care area which gave me a chance to work with the highly active dogs. I soon fell in love with every one of them.  I now own four dogs.  I adopted Pumpkin, an older black lab mix, and a beautiful young female St Bernard named Bernie.  My mother has four dogs, 3 pups and a Boston Terrier puppy, so when I baby sit my house is suddenly full of dogs.

I have now taken on the responsibility of General Manager.  I have taken and passed level one and level two Pet Care Technician courses from the American Boarding Kennel Association.  This course is designed to educate us on animal behavior, control of disease, parasite control, plus much more.

I love my job as it is the most rewarding and fulfilling career I could have chosen.
